Originally a 17th century merchants house, later to become a rare example of a classic English inn, offering award-winning food, drink and accommodation. Enjoy a drink in the Bar with its open log fire. In summer, the intimate walled garden is a real sun trap at midday and features a heated awning to one side for shade and evening relaxation. The beds are made up with duvets and white linen. If you prefer traditional sheets and blankets please inform us in sufficient time, before arrival, so the beds can be remade.Ample FREE private car parking (sorry. not suitable for lorries/trucks or other large motor vehicle). NEW SERVICE Overnight guests have FREE wireless internet access in their bedrooms as well as downstairs in the Bar.NOTE. The Inn, on Mondays, is only open for Bed and Breakfast, however, there are alternative places to eat and drink on Monday evenings near by. Ideally located minutes from junction 7 of the M5 and just 4 miles from the city of Worcester and its historic Cathedral,a World Heritage Site, the Inn is ideally placed for visiting the West of England and Midlands. Easy reach of Cheltenham Racecourse, Stratford-upon-AvonEnthusiasts of landscape architecture will be attracted to nearby Croome Landscape Park, an early example of Capability Browns work, which has undergone a spectacular restoration by the National Trust. Smoking is only permitted in the sheltered walled garden.

Free WiFi access may be available throughout the hotel or only in certain areas, such as reception or the bar, or only in some of the bedrooms - where we're aware of restrictions we've shown this.
