Originally a 17th century merchants house, later to become a rare example of a classic English inn, offering award-winning food, drink and accommodation. Enjoy a drink in the Bar with its open log fire. In summer, the intimate walled garden is a real sun trap at midday and features a heated awning to one side for shade and evening relaxation. The beds are made up with duvets and white linen.
