A rambling country manor, complete with beautiful gardens, a babbling brook and an ancient chapel. The Babington Bar has an air of luxury with comfortable Chesterfields in front of a magnificent fireplace. Traditional bar food is served together with morning coffee and afternoon tea. The splendid oak panelled dining room of the manor house is now the equally splendid restaurant, with an a la carte menu and a fine wine list. 30 en-suite bedrooms are divided between the main house and the beautifully converted stable block. Up to 85 guests can be catered for in one of three function rooms.

Hotels have been included in this directory based on information provided by the hotels themselves. This is subject to change and equipment or connections can fail so if access is critical for your stay then you should check first with the hotel.
Free WiFi access may be available throughout the hotel or only in certain areas, such as reception or the bar, or only in some of the bedrooms - where we're aware of restrictions we've shown this. Sometimes the restrictions on rooms is 'physical', that is the WiFi access just doesn't 'reach' that far (WiFi signals are easily blocked by stone, brick and concrete walls), or sometimes hotels only give free access to their more expensive rooms.
Free access may also be only for a limited time - you get the first 30 minutes or 2 hours free but after that there is a charge, again we've shown this where we're aware of it.
In some hotels, the free connection may be via a wired connection to the room rather than WiFi but we've included them here, basically because the aim of this directory is to highlight hotels and guest houses that give you free access to the internet from your own laptop.
